Celotex GA4000 is an easy-to-install polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board with excellent thermal performance, featuring a low emissivity foil facing. Available in thicknesses from 50mm to 100mm, it can be considered for roofs, walls, and floor applications.
Celotex GA4000 insulation board has been designed for general purpose and delivers a wide range of thermal insulation solutions. The boards are polyisocyanurate meaning they are rigid and lightweight, making handling much easier. Celotex insulation products are effective in reducing heating and cooling costs and have been rated as having zero ozone depletion potential (OPD) and low global warming potential (GWP) – plus, the materials involved in the process are environmentally friendly.
Celotex GA4000 insulation boards have been scored with a class 1 fire rating, meaning they don’t catch fire easily.

What’s the best glue to use for sticking the boards to wood?
It is best to mechanically fix the boards. This is because the adhesive will only be as strong as the foil facing.
If you want to glue aswell as mechanically fix, a general purpose adhesice such as Stixall can be used.
Why is there foil on the Celotex GA4000 boards?
Celotex GA4000 boards along with TB400 and XR4000 are foil faced on both sides. These facings have a low emissivity and help reduce heat transfer, which improves thermal performance.
