Is there any difference between other brands of boards and Celotex, my normal supplier has offered me Recticel as they dont have any Celotex in stock? I need 150mm boards
Recticel is the same material as Celotex (PIR - Polyisocyanurate). Ecotherm and Kingspan TP10 & TF70 are also made of this material. PIR has a higher thermal performance than mineral based insulation products, as you would require only half the thickness with PIR boards.
These boards have the same performance as their alternative, and can be used in the same applications.
