There are water pipes running between some of my floor joists. Can I fit this Rockwool slab around them? How soft is it, can it be moulded around pipes or does it need to be carved?
The Flexi slabs are semi-rigid slabs which retain their shape. This means that they probably aren't flexible enough for this application. If you are looking to soundproof, acoustic roll would be a good option if you are looking to enclose pipes without having to make many cuts to the slabs.
