What is Rockwool Ablative Coated Batt 60mm?

Rockwool Ablative Coated Batt 60mm not only protects against air leakage but also enhances acoustic and fire performance “ the stone wool slab prevents fire, heat, and smoke from moving through your building. In the event of a fire, the ablative coatings release water vapour to cool the surface.

Tests have shown that a single 50mm batt provides up to two hours of fire resistance integrity and insulation. Where four hours of integrity and insulation are required, the use of the 60mm Ablative Coated Batt is recommended.
