Typically used above or below ground supported by concrete slabs, suspended concrete, or timber ground floors, this product has a BRE Green Guide Rating of A+. With thermal conductivity from as low as 0.030 W/mK, they have high compressive strength which makes them appealing for load-bearing applications too.

What is the difference between EPS and PIR insulation?
Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation is a closed-cell rigid material whereas EPS has been formed through steam which fuses spherical beads. EPS is softer and not as dense.
