I'm not ready to start using the loft roll, how do I store it?
The rolls are supplied in a polythene wrapper for temporary protection from the elememts. For longer term storage, the rolls should be kept inside if possible, otherwise stored undercover and off the ground.
I've been told I need 300mm loft roll, what's this in inches please?
300mm loft roll is approximately 12 inches (11.811 inches).
Should I be using mineral wool or glass wool in my loft?
If you are looking for some acoustic properties aswell, mineral wool would be your choice as it is more dense. Glass wool is more sustainable, so if you are looking for something with less of an impact on the environment, you should choose the Superglass.
If I was to order, how are the loft rolls delivered to me?
Deliveries are usually made on a pallet and offloaded mechanically, in some instances the rolls will need to be handballed off. The rolls come in a polythene wrap for temporary storage/protection.
