What is Knauf acoustic roll 100mm? 

Providing fantastic noise reduction, the Knauf insulation acoustic roll 100mm is a glass mineral wool roll that is easier to install than other, rigid insulants due to its ability to adapt to slight imperfections in the substrate, which eliminates air gaps. 

The easy-to-install roll - which can be cut to size - is odourless, rot-proof and non-hygroscopic, with a long lifespan. It is also made from non-combustible material, with a Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification. 

The Knauf 10mm acoustic roll is specifically designed for friction between joists and studs at 400mm and 600mm, which not only improves sound absorption and reduces reverberation but thermal performance too.
